NEET PG/MDS Counselling 2020 Postponed: MCC i.e. the Medical Counselling Committee has decided to postpone NEET PG / MDS Counselling 2020 due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
In view of the Covid-19 outbreak, the govt of India has cancelled all stages of NEET-PG Counselling. All India counselling has been postponed till further order.
The news about the delay in the counselling process for NEET PG Admissions 2020 was confirmed by the MCC through an official update on its website. The notice read “The Reporting Phase Round till further orders.
The candidates are advised to keep in touch with the official websites - www.mcc.nic.in, www.intramcc.nic.in - for further announcements. In the meantime, candidates are advised to follow the guidelines by the health ministry on Covid-19.
The new schedule has not been issued yet, only all India, state couselling has been stopped due to Covid-19 lockdown till further orders.
About NEET PG 2020 Counselling / Admission Process
NEET PG 2020 Counselling is being held to facilitate the admission to various PG Medical and MDS programmes offered by medical colleges across the country.
NEET PG 2020 written exam was held on 5th January 2020 by the NBE i.e. National Board of Examinations. Through the exam, candidates have been shortlisted for NEET PG / MDS Counselling 2020 by the MCC.
Currently, the Medical Counselling Committee is facilitating the admission process to 10,821 Master of Surgery (MS) seats, 19,953 Doctor of Medicine (MD) seats and 1,979 PG Diploma seats offered by 6,102 government, private, Deemed and Central Universities.
