NEET PG Counselling 2019: Important Dates


NEET PG Counselling 2019

Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) on behalf of Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will conduct NEET PG 2019 counselling tentatively in second week of March for admission to MD/MS/PG Diploma courses. NBE has released the score card of NEET PG 2019 on February 6. NEET 2019 result was earlier released on January 31; only NEET qualified candidates can appear in the counselling process. The counselling of NEET PG 2019 will be held in online mode. Candidates qualifying the exam by securing minimum required percentile and its equivalent marks will be eligible to participate in NEET PG counselling 2019. This counselling process is the centralised which is conducted for admission to 50% All India Quota seats, Central and Deemed Universities, and AFMS Institutions. NEET PG 2019 counselling will be merit-based which means the counselling will be conducted on the basis of NEET PG score. Candidates who fail to attend this process will not be considered for the admission process. The counselling of NEET PG 2019 for 50% All India Quota seats will be conducted in two rounds while the counselling for Central & Deemed Universities will be conducted in three rounds. NEET PG Counselling 2019 – Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates must qualify NEET PG 2019 to participate in the counselling of NEET PG 2019. In order to qualify the NEET PG exam, candidates will be required to secure the minimum required percentile which is given in the table below for each category-

  • All the candidates who are allotted an All India Rank will be considered eligible for the counselling process.

  • Candidates belonging to the state of Jammu and Kashmir are not eligible for the counselling of 50% All India Quota seats.

  • Only those candidates who will register for the counselling process will be considered eligible for participation.

  • The seats available under Central Universities Internal Quota will be available for those candidates only who have completed MBBS degree from the respective Central University.
