AIIMS MBBS 2019: Registration starts from 30th November at

The AIIMS entrance examination is a gateway to the most prestigious medical college in the country. Apart from the main centre in New Delhi which was established in 1956, there are Fourteen other colleges at various cities across India.


Through this exam, candidates can get admission into nine AIIMS Institutions located in New Delhi and Fourteen other AIIMS Bathinda, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Deogarh, Gorakhpur, Jodhpur, Kalyani, Mangalagiri, Nagpur, Patna, Raipur, Rae Bareli, Rishikesh and Telangana.


AIIMS MBBS 2019 registration will start from November 30, 2018. From this year, the process of registration will take place in two stages.

The first stage registration begins from today. Interested candidates are required to visit the official website — for filling in the applications. The exam will be held on May 25 and 26 and the result is expected by June 12.

The two-stage process will help in avoiding the last minute rush and the discrepancy in the forms. There is no fee for the basic registration and only after verifying the details filled, the candidate can proceed to the final registration.


Who can apply for Basic Registration:

Candidates who have passed / appearing / appeared in 12th class examination (in 10+2 scheme) or its equivalent with the subjects of English, Physics, Chemistry, Biologyand desirous of applying for MBBS course of AIIMS.


Who are eligible for MBBS course in 2019:

Those who secure aggregate of 60% marks (50% for SC/ST, 45% for OPH) in English, Physics, Chemistry & Biology in 12th class examination (in 10+2 scheme) and fulfil other eligibility  criteria. Online


AIIMS MBBS 2019: Important dates

The AIIMS MBBS exam is likely to be conducted between May 25 and 26 next year. For the PG admission, the exam is expected to be conducted on May 5, 2019. The exams for the M.Sc and Biotechnology aspirants are likely to be held on June 29. The students can expect the results before July 5, 2019.

AIIMS MBBS 2019: Minimum marks to qualify

Candidates belonging to unreserved category must score at least 50 per cent, those belonging to OBC (non-creamy layer) must score at least 45 per cent and those belonging to SC/ST must score at least 40 per cent in order to be considered eligible for further counselling process of AIIMS MBBS.

General knowledge: 10 questions

Aptitude and logical thinking: 10 questions

There are certain instructions and rules which candidates have to adhere by before the exam and while appearing for the exam. Read out the below-mentioned suggestions for a hassle-free examination.


Application Fee:

  • The application fee will be Rs. 1500 for GEN/OBC (Creamy & Non-Creamy) categories.
  • For SC/ST category, the fee will be Rs. 1200.
  • Fee payment will be done during the final registration.
  • Candidates will deposit the application fee through Credit Card/Debit Card/Net Banking.
