CAT Result 2018 to be declared on today January 5: Check result @ iimcat.ac.in



The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta has announced to declare the result of the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2018 on January 5, 2019 at 1 pm.

 

All the candidates can check their scores on the official website, the link for which is iimcat.ac.in

 

CAT Results 2018: Here's how to check

  1. Log on to the official website, iimcat.ac.in
  2. On the homepage, click on the CAT 2018 result link
  3. Enter your login details
  4. On submitting the same, the results will be displayed on the screen
  5. Download and take print out of the same for future use.

CAT 2018 scores to be accepted by JNU

The Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) has recently announced that the scores of Common Admission Test (CAT) 2018 will be accepted by the varsity from its July 2019 session.

MBA Colleges Cut Off 2018: 80 to 90Percentile

The programme will be offered through the newly-announced School of Management and Entrepreneurship.

 

Selection procedure of CAT 2018:

The selection of candidates will be done on the basis of the Written Ability Test (WAT), Group Discussion (GD) followed by Personal Interviews (PI) round. All the selected candidates will get admission in around 20 IIM institutes established in various parts of the nation.

 

MBA Colleges Cut Off 2018: CAT Percentile Range 70 to 80
 

Normalisation of CAT scores:

In order to ensure fairness and equity in comparison of performances of the candidates across different test sessions, the scores of the candidates shall be subjected to a process of 'Normalisation'

The 'Normalisation' process shall adjust for location and scale differences of score distributions across different forms

After normalisation across different forms, the scores shall be further normalised across different sections.
