Admission Criteria

Candidates who have appeared for the CAT (2018) will be short listed on the basis of the details filled in the application form and their CAT scores. Only the shortlisted candidates will then be called for Group Discussion and Personal Interviews before announcing the Final Merit List.

Stage 1 (short listing): The short listing for WAT-GD-PI of candidates is done on the basis of CAT percentiles including sectional cut offs from eligible application pool of MDI, Gurgaon. The minimum CAT percentile requirement is decided based on the number of candidates to be shortlisted.

Stage 2 (WAT-GD-PI): WAT for 15 minutes (Word Limit: 150 words, Time: 15 Mins) followed by Group Discussion (GD) for 15 minutes with about 10 participants followed by a Personal Interview (PI) with 2 panelists for 10-15 minutes.

The shortlisted candidates will go through the following process: 1. Written Analysis Test (WAT): Candidates have to submit a written analysis on the topic provided. The evaluation of WAT will be on content and language. 2. Group Discussion (GD): Candidates have to discuss the same topic in group discussion. The evaluation of GD will be on group behaviour and content. 3. Personal Interview: Thereafter candidates have to appear for personal interview. The evaluation will be on communication, analytical ability, general aptitude and business awareness.
